Thank you for vising my profile! My name is Jenn Myers and I am the owner/operator of Ortner Brand Soap Company.
Ortner Brand Soap Company began after a lengthy hunt for products that were cruelty-free and natural, but finding that sourcing these products was sometimes challenging. These product hunts usually resulted in me returning home with extremely expensive bars of soap or other products that I was not always happy with.
As someone who loves creating and learning how things work, Eric Ortner (my husband), decided that there must be a way to make our own soap. Soon he got to work on figuring out how to make soap and even made his own soap mold. After much trial and (sometimes hilarious) error, he created a recipe that produced an amazing bar of soap. This soap inspired the beginning of a multitude of products that both Eric and I use regularly such as soap, liquid soap, lotion, lip balm, laundry soap, rescue balm, beard oil, and beard balm. We created these products for ourselves and now want to share them with you!
Ortner Brand products are 100% natural, cruelty-free (we only test on humans!) and are created in small batches to ensure quality. Ortner Brand began in beautiful British Columbia and is now based in rural Nova Scotia.
