About Us
Button Brook Farm is run by Paul Hubble and family, and a handful of talented staff. Situated on about 200 acres of forest and field on Button Brook and the Annapolis River, the farm began current operations in 2020. Our vision is to cultivate local prosperity by providing meaningful employment and healthy food to Nova Scotians.
Paul is the 7th generation of his family to work and steward this beautiful land, and his personal dream is to contribute to the scalability of regenerative ecological agriculture systems that can grow into a meaningful alternative to conventional imports.
We specialize in salad greens and fresh herbs. We also have specialty onions and garlic, and other seasonal goodies, like cherry tomatoes and lunchbox peppers.

Practices
We are Certified Naturally Grown, and do not use synthetic inputs like fertilizers or pesticides, while taking a soil-building approach in our systems.
