Transplant, Pulmonaria

One of the earliest-blooming spring flowers in our garden, we absolutely adore Pulmonaria. The cheerful spotted leaves are unique in the garden all year round, and the pink-blue-purple flowers are absolutely stunning in the spring garden. (Some plants, in a semi-shaded location, will bloom for weeks at a time.)

Grows in full sun, partial shade, and even fairly deep shade. Tolerates a range of soil conditions, and especially loves slightly heavy or damp areas of the garden.

This is one of my favourite garden plants because it's so striking, so beautiful, and so adaptable to various locations around our property.
