Hi, we’re Sarah and Carl, the farmers at Stone Meadow Gardens in Granville Beach, Nova Scotia, where we grow over 100 varieties of cut flowers. While we love them all, dahlias are our specialty! We have close to 5,000 dahlia plants this season and over 100 different cultivars in all shapes and sizes, and colors.

We have a firm commitment to caring for the land and the community of plants, animals and people that are all connected to it. We believe that to grow beautiful, healthy plants, you must create a healthy, thriving environment for them to flourish. Starting with a program to nourish and nurture the soil, we use simple organic techniques to build a healthy foundation for our plants to thrive. We grow all our plants without the use of any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.
